The purpose of Temenos Education is to offer learning and personal & professional development based on the philosophy, theory and practice of the person-centred approach as originally developed by Carl Rogers and subsequently by other theorists and practitioners.

Temenos exists to provide a particular kind of learning environment: an interpersonal and a physical space in which individuals are able to learn through a self-determined, non-prescriptive process; an environment in which people have an experience of belonging and of their own presence as autonomous individuals; a learning experience that is both appropriate to the individual’s needs and relevant to their life in the wider world and the world of professional counselling & psychotherapy practice.

In this environment you can engage in rigorous learning where personal & professional development is inevitable.

In addition to training in counselling & psychotherapy, Temenos provides professional development opportunities in the form of workshops, seminars and short courses, including training in supervision. Temenos promotes anti-oppressive practice as good practice and as a way of being for all.
